Thanks for the video, that's about the size I hit with my car a couple of years ago, but much, much thinner, but he caused $2000.00 worth of damage to my car, I hit him on his right back hip. I was devastated, he trotted right in front of my car at 4:15AM, another car was tailgating, even tho I applied my breaks I couldn't slow down enough to avoid hitting him, and I was only doing 45MPH. At 5PM every night I gate off of my deck, I have black bears that walk behind my house. Cody uses the deck after 5PM, when it's dark out I have 6 spot lights in my yard that gets turned on so I can see if anything got into the yard that can get on my deck, although my deck is high, after seeing how that coyote hopped that wall, from this day forward, I go out first, then the Cody boy.
