I can't blame you. I don't know how people on a fixed budget can do it anymore. I'm lucky because I'm getting some extra money in right now through college. But my electricity bill was $250 in Jan. and this time it was $200, and $139 of it was in gas! And it's not like we run the heater all the time, just a little bit at night. So I've cut it totally off and now we wear sweaters and stuff at night with lots of blankets, it's still colder than what I like, but we have to deal. It's San Diego, so it's not too bad at night, but still uncomfortable for me. I don't know how others do it.
