Seven weeks is still too young, in this day and age of where we are at w/ understanding a dog's immunity. It really shouldn't be given until 9-10 weeks, 8 weeks at the very earliest.

As far as weight, I don't know that answer...it usually goes by age bc that determines the maturity of the immune system.
