Sense the pup didn't come from a good breeder I'm sure they did no genetic testing and all the things to try and have the healthiest pups possible so you really should look into pet insurance to be prepared if your pup has liver shunt, Luxating pattella and any other issues. I would make sure to get one that covers genetic illnesses. I know Luxating Patella which is very common in yorkies, surgery costs around $2,000 so insurance would help. The younger you get it the better.
