Thanks for the advise. I think I am going to stick with the crate at night. I will sometimes here her up early in the morning, but she will just stay in her crate quietly or go back to sleep until I get up. I have a good feeling she would be getting me up early if she slept in my bed, and I'm not a morning person


Lexi doesn't really go into her crate willingly at night, but she doesn't cry or whine when in there so it seems to work well for us. I put her crate in the living room during the day and she will sometimes go in there to play and dig, so she doesn't "hate" her crate. I think using the crate from the very beginning really helped with that. She knows that is where she sleeps at night, and doesn't know any different.
