I'm so glad to hear Summer is doing good in her new home.
I can feel the spine on both of my girls if I run my hand down their back. My vet told me both are at a good weight and he would rather have them on the lean side than the "hefty" side. What I noticed him looking at was their ribs. I can feel their ribs if I run my hand down their sides but I can't see their ribs.
