we have done the blood test where he bath and then they test him a couple hours after eating also. But since they did that test and found he had a mild liver shuntso since we been giving him the medicine and I mix royal canine yorkie with Blue Buffalo holistic and just feed him the the dry kibble. I used to mix boiled chickenbreast or chicken Gerber baby food in his kibble to make him eat it but it was giving him too much protein. We had a couple real scary times twice actually where we thought we were going to lose him he was falling over couldn't stand up really bad took him to the emergency vet both times he pulled through but since he's been on the Lactulose 1ml 2 x a day. the only symptoms he has has been rubbing his head and digs at the couch. Otherwise he eats 3-4 small meals a day and I give him fresh organic veggies and fruits he love snow peas and green beans.

He was very frail tiny, but now he actually put some weight on he feels solid still not quite 3 lbs yetbut he's going to be small anyway his dad is only 3 pounds and his mom with four pounds. He plays with Teva our cat all day long.
we had a checkup at the VET and to get his rabies shot in about a week. I am praying that science he was diagnosed as "mild" liver shunt. Medication along with watching his diet will be good for him without having to get surgery. Time will tell.

We are prepared to do what ever it takes to have him live a nice long healty life.
He also took an antibiotic for 30 days too.

I will keep you and your little one in my thoughts and prayers.

Keep me informed We can help each other out with what helps and what d oest
