YorkieMom1,
I want to thank you again for your response. Do you vacumn seal your dry dog food? This is the only reason I want to buy a vacumn sealer. I don't use all of it in the 6 weeks that it is only good for after the bag is opened. I don't have room in my freezer or refrigerator to keep any. I read that you can vacumn seal a week's worth in every bag you seal and that alone will keep the food fresh longer. I can vacumn seal about half or so and keep the rest in the bag and all the food should stay fresh and I won't waste any that way. That is my idea on it,anyway. I had to throw away half a bag of his prescription food as it was past the 6 weeks time period and I don't want to keep wasting it like that. He doesn't eat that much at a meal and it would take a long time to empty the 6lb bag. Too bad it does not come in a smaller size. Again, thank you for your help and advice. Silver Lace
