Actually if the baby got sick at eight weeks and the lil yorkie gal was greT for the first two weeks it sounds like op was given yorkie baby at six weeks
I am so sad for the heartbreak that must have been for you and what a sad loss of life for the baby. Yorkie's are wonderful amazing companions and don't have to be a set up for heartbreak- do some reading and research about weaning and hypoglycemia and liver shunts and guidelines that identify a reputable breeder and then if having a yorkie is for you you will have all the information you need to make an informed decision on choosing one
