It's no fun - and you have my sympathy.

Please do try the pennies and can trick - some people say it works.

A woman at my Vet's office said she cured her dogs of barking by spraying their mouths with Binaca (the mouth spray) every time they started barking for any extended period of time. (We're not talking about an occasional bark.) She said they got so that they would bark a couple times and then turn around to see if she was coming with the Binaca. You know what it's like. It's just a very somewhat surprising, flavorful spray - that they just hate? She said her dog trainer told her to do this - and she said it really helped keep her dog's barking down to a minimal more normal amount.

If I were you - I'd try anything and everthing.

Good luck! Carol Jean
Thanks Carol Jean. Riley doesn't bark alot but when he does you certainly know it! We're just used to the quiet...Jo rarely ever barks and we're in a gated community so it's very quiet here but when Riley lets out his war whoop (or whatever it is!) it sure gets your attention!
