I am quite sure he was. Prednisone is a no no in pancreatitis. If he has neurological symptoms such as the numbing in his legs they are thinking disc issues and the meds you were given would be given for that. The califate??? I think you meant carafate would be given to coat his tummy since he is on the steroid.
If they are thinking it is disc issues, he should be on crate rest.
