My vet told me that she has been using it for 6 years and has only ever had 1 pet that's had a reaction to it and it was vomiting. I was at the vet office and hadn't heard of it before so I went ahead and had Roxie injected because honestly, I never remember to give her the monthly pill and Roxie has never had worms. Roxie didn't have any side effects with the shot (she also got distemper at the same time and wasn't even lethargic). She is 8 years old and is in very good health. I would say it's been 3 weeks since she had it and I haven't noticed any change in her. I probably wouldn't have done it if I knew there had been so many issues, but it seemed to work fine for her. |
