Thanks for the information. I gave Evie 1/2 of the chewable NexGard tablet and she did okay with it. I am still going to check with the vet to see if there is a better alternative. I'm afraid that, because of her size being so small, she may have issues with just about any type of flea/tick preventive.
My paperwork is at home, but I believe the injected heartworm prevention she gets is ProHeart. She did not have any side effects from that when she received it in January.
