I'm sure you meant the "racist" comment in some sort of jest, with no bad intentions whatsoever - we all know you well enough to know this, and know what a caring, evolved human being you are. I think, though, that there are some sensitivities, understandably so, surrounding the use of that word...and maybe it wasn't the best way to express what you were getting at. Maybe just take a moment when you can to clarify what you meant, so that others aren't hurt by what was written.
