As far as your blog - yes, I'd get insurance - I think it's so worth it. One thing goes wrong and you could easily be looking at thousands of dollars. Yorkies are prone to LP, which isa $1500+++ surgery - so I'd get the insurance before he is diagnosed w/ LP bc otherwise it won't be covered as it'd be considered a pre-existing condition.
