I am going to be blunt and honest. I love my girls with all my heart. But Yorkies are what I would consider a high maintenance dog. They are a lot of responsibility and as Taylor said, can be expensive. I think you need to really consider if you want that responsibility as you have some pretty important moments in life coming up (Driving, graduation, college, etc).
Also, my Rosie does tend to be yappy. Lol. But my Mikki is not. So it will be different for each pup.
I would want to see how my other dog did around other dogs before I got one. Just to make sure everyone will live in harmony. Is there a place in your area where he could play with other dogs? Just a thought.
