I'm a Chromie too as I love horses with a passion and hope we get to see a horse of today make it through to win the Triple Crown. I've heard that with the drugs they give them these days, such as Lasix, it's just too hard for a horse to rehabilitate from the bleeding in the lungs, nostrils and trachea, etc., many of them have after racing and the drugs to help their lungs recover from all the trauma and the dehydration, etc., from the drugs and still make it in top form through all three races but hopefully, Chrome will be that one that can. Still, it seems cruel to race a horse with the condition so hard it bleeds and can't breathe.
