I'm so sorry, Fernand, that Giles is gone. It must have been so awful for him and for you, trying to care for and help him. He was obviously blessed to have you there with him throughout those last days and moments. But just think of it - he's not scared or feeling pain now so take what comfort you can in that and know that everyone here genuinely cared for Giles. He is gone far too soon but no doubt his memory and good works in life will live on in the hearts and minds of his friends and family.
