I was able to train my pup in about a week, but it probably helped that she was already 12 weeks old and i am a stay at home mom. It would probably be harder for a younger pup and someone who works.

I basically took her out a lot in the beginning. I made sure I took her out about 20 after she ate or drink. Some might have to pee sooner than that. I would say at the door "time to go potty" and when she went outside "go potty" and if she went "good girl go potty". That way she would associate all those things with the word "potty". If she didn't go I would watch her like a Hawk to see if she was sniffing around for a place to go and take her out again 10 minutes later until she finally went. If she had an accident I would say "no" and take her right outside and day "go potty" just to reinforce to her this is she you go potty. If I wasn't able to directly watch her inside I would put her in her crate.

Those are the basics of what I did. Others will probably have some more advice. Good luck.
