Five days. That is the length of time my local animal shelter holds a found dog as a stray. Then it is moved to the adoption ward and is up for grabs to anyone that wants to adopt.
If some is missing a wanted dog, they are out there looking for it, posting flyers, notifying all local vets and shelters and sharing their loss online.
Thank you for taking this baby in and vetting her. Sounds like she has found a home where she will be loved and cared for.
People if you want your animals returned to you, microchip them!
