Not sure how a chip would have worked if the woman that had the dog didn't bother looking or posting that she found a dog. Things like this really bother me. If you take someone's dog in you NEED to make an effort to find the owners. Not just claim it as your own!
These people looked every single day for their missing dog and find it down the block! That is HORRIBLE!
