Actually, I think most people were responding to the person who said matted dog automatically equals to an abusive previous family. No where in your original posts did you state that, so the comments weren't addressed to you. As for the others offering suggestions as to where to look for her owners... I can tell you as a somewhat long time member that none of those were meant as an attack on you. You're doing a great job looking for this little girl's family! They were only trying to help. 4 weeks sounds like a long time to you, but for us old timers to this forum, we've seen forum members search years for a lost pup. In our minds we think there may be someone even miles and miles away frantically looking for their baby. So we feel for them, but we also feel for you too. Who couldn't help getting attached to these little ones. I know I couldn't! They're irresistible.
