The vet said it was all probably caused by her reproductive organs since she is not spayed which caused the inflammation/swelling, licking which led to an infection which led to the blisters. He gave her 3 different shots, an antibiotic shot, one for the swelling and a third one I think for the irritation. We are planning on getting her spayed this summer for sure.
My husband is at home with her and said she's already much more lively and moving about so I'm so so so relieved, I was hardly able to focus at work this morning! |
Thanks so much for the update, so glad to hear that she is okay! I was so worried for her, especially bc you said she was under that car...so worried about antifreeze since dogs are so attracted to it.
That's great you're getting her spayed, it sounds like this will alleviate future issues
