Hi, I am formally from NY, The Bronx, Have you tried the ASPCA located on 86th St. and East River Drive. I my self have never used them, but I knew ppl that did, they raved about the help they received, for the issues their dogs had. When I lived in The Bronx I could not find a good vet. This is the vet I used for 5 years before moving to Pa. which was 13 years ago. At that time they had 4 or 5 vets at their clinic.They use to be a 24/7 clinic, I don't know if they have changed that policy over the last 13 years, but you can call and see. I lived in the Throggs Neck area, by car it was a 20 minute drive.
