We really were there wanting the cool lapel pins they were handing out but when we got there, the medevac people (approx. 8 of them) were 6 feet deep with people waiting to talk to them. You cannot tell by the picture but the helicopter was surrounded by people taking photos. When we got the dogs in everyone cleared and ran to the front snapping away with their camera phones. I got pushed back about 10 feet but Desi's mom managed to take five shots. And yes, we got our lapel pins.
