He has a crate in the kitchen, I will make sure he is in there when I open the door until I can get some kind of mesh or chicken wire to put on the gate. He loves to run, and if he would come back to me I would let him, but he doesn't. We have a fenced in yard, but for some reason he doesn't find that as exciting as the open yard. We live in the country on 20 acres, but our road is somewhat close to the house, and the cars drive fast down them. We also have birds of prey (they won't come down with me there) but if he is running real fast away from me he is fair game to them. What a bummer, he loves running so much...
