Animals that are unvaccinated should be euthanized immediately.
o Animals that are currently vaccinated may be observed/confined for 45 days; however, if there is no way to reliably quarantine the animal or it shows any sign of illness, it should be euthanized immediately and may tested for rabies depending on the timing. |
