i had severe allergy for three years straight and had the shots too, but I believe it was environmental because the allergy went away on its own after I moved to a new home. If your allergy is to pet dander, you can control it by bathing your dog once a week. It works and it helps them with their allergies as well.
I just adopted a rescued Yorkie 3 weeks ago. She's all wrong, as she is way too big (10 lbs) and suffered hairloss due to neglect from her breeder and a skin allergy. But what a wonderful personality she has! She has stolen my heart faster than any of my other dogs did. I have two Schnauzers, one of them also rescued. I hope you are ok to get your own Yorkie soon too. They are truly a blessing.
