I would love to see the answer for this because I have the same problem but its with any ball. She actually becomes a demented demon dog. Its not pretty. You have the extra worry of your baby running out in the open. I am not sure what causes them to become so fixated on an item. Roxie was out one morning and the child across the street had a ball. She made a bee line to it and it took 4 of us 5 minutes to catch her. She will continue on- nose to the ball, growling, barking and spitting fire. Then pick it up and run- only to drop it and continued on her way.She will not hear you or see you for that darn ball. It is sad because I shouldn't have to hide all balls from her. Any suggestions?
