I have been told that this disease is incurable and fatal, and it is only a matter of time. It is heartbreaking. He is the sweetest dog I've ever had, and it is so unfair - he is only 2 1/2 years old. I am hoping for the longest remission possible, but I am trying to be realistic at the same time. It has now been almost 6 months since diagnosis. Again, very heartbreaking.

Anyone out there with any advice on new meds or anything at all?
Thanks so much for this update . I'm so sorry to hear that this is always fatal, how tragic and utterly heartbreaking. I really feel for what you're going through...you clearly love this little guy so much.

I don't have any advice, but just wanted to wish you both well.
