Oh my gosh... this is awesome! How well this describes our plight as yorkie parents. We have three yorkies now, and when the third joined us there was no room in the king size bed for my husband and I to sleep. We would cling to the edge of the bed all night! The yorkies had plenty of room sleeping in the middle. When we made the decision too remove them it was really difficult. They didn't like sleeping in their beds just a few feet away. Throughout the night they would wake us up begging to get back in bed with us. In addition to this problem, they started playing "musical beds"... meaning they would switch beds among themselves and move them closer to our bed. We finally solved this dilemma by moving all three of the doggie beds and placing them under ours. (Our bed is several feet above the floor and open underneath.) Problem solved! They are now happy yorkies at bedtime!
