I've been finding Tibbe's hair around for a couple of months now and his coat is fuller than ever. He's itchy, too, for about the same length of time. If you scratch his back, one of his back legs begins to move involuntarily and he unches up. Just two months ago, he didn't do that, though last fall he was the same way - even had some bumps on his back. His hair won't come out when you pull on it but I'm finding it on the couch and throw, bedspread, his bedding in his carrier. He's getting checked for it in a week or two - thyroid test plus his regular blood tests. The vet gave me Hexachlor shampoo to use on him last fall and that and/or possibly the coming of winter, stopped his bumps and itching then but this hair loss is something new.
