The better food will be the one your dog does best on! Different pups will tolerate the same food differently.

I will say that my parents' beagle does pretty well on the Natural Balance limited ingredient formulas and I have no problem feeding it to my pups when we go to visit for a long weekend...they tolerate it well and eat it right up.

I also feed a lot of the Science Diet cans (the stew formulas) to Toki...I haven't fed that kibble though. Hill's (the same company that makes Science Diet) also has a premium line called Ideal Balance which I feed more often than the SD and actually just stocked up on a ton of (they have coupon books floating around out there with some awesome deals like $5 off a bag of kibble and BOGO cans...Petsmart also has IB products on sale and 2 free cans with each bag purchased if you're interested). Toki does well on the Science Diet and Ideal Balance cans.

I'm not sure if you're referring to Nutro or Nulo but I don't have experience with those foods. Maybe others will have more information!
