I hadn't thought of senior food. My other pup is only 3, could they share? She is a little chubby too (only a little, not as much as Chibi) but very active. Chibi has never really been an overly active dog so I wouldn't say I've noticed a decrease in energy but with his 7th birthday coming up I can't help but wonder if that's part of it. I have been thinking of doing some blood work just to make sure everything looks good. I don't think I can handle him having any more health issues though, my heart can't take it, so maybe I've been avoiding it a little. Thanks for all the great suggestions, I'm gonna get a measuring cup for sure.
