I wonder if Marcel's nose and airways being so tiny contribute to the problem, or make him extra sensitive. I remember the time you took him to ER years ago, wasn't that thought to be due to inhaling a down feather or something?

Yup, I wonder the same thing about the size - he has *such* tiny facial features...his nose and mouth are just so tiny, and I do think that he has that much less "room" for any irritation/swelling/inflammation to occur. The vet said had he been 1 pound smaller, they don't know how they would've even gotten that darn piece of foxtail out of his nose! They used the very smallest ear-cone they had to look up there to guide them.
