I am too Ann. We are asked to make so many decisions for our dogs throughout their lives, however, I don't like the danger he is putting Whisper in and yet the relationship the two have if owner were to be killed could be something the dog would never get over as we have seen dogs that stay at a grave site with people having to bring food and water
I get the feeling that this is their whole life and it gets a bit much when your life doesn't involve other love ones and other interests. It's his life though and I think he truly loves the dog and probably thinks it's even more safe than driving a car.
If that were not the case, it is selfish.
