It is hard to predict their full grown adult weight. They grow in spurts, so she may slow down or she may grow a bit more. My girls reached their full weight somewhere around 1 to 1 1/2 years after they were spayed.
Have you always been feeding only 1/2 cup per day, and does she eat it all? I like to free feed puppies, keeping food available all day since they sometimes can't eat much at a time. After they switched from puppy food to adult food around 1 yr. old I started feeding them twice a day, measured amounts, usually 1/3 cup in the morning and 1/3 cup in the evening. All 3 are between 6 and 7.5 lbs, though my other girl who ate the same amount got up to 15 lbs. |
