As for the dental, get a baseline cleaning and start brushing 2 times a week if possible . Use a finger brush and the tooth paste they sell for dogs.

I agree. I had to do that with my picky eater. I was trying to get her to eat more by feeding her wet food mixed with dry. When I went to just dry she didn't want anything to do with it. I just left it out and she eventually ate. She went half the day without eating, but it worked and now she eats her dry food with no complaints.
