Hi, I have a 2 year old male Yorkie, that I adopted after picking him up off the side of the road. After a couple of weeks of looking for his owner we came to the conclusion that he was a graduation dump, which is fairly common in our town
. My main concern right now is is diet. I was feeding him a diet of soft food and cottage cheese to try and get his weight up since he is fairly skinny still. That being said my vet told me to move him to a dry food diet because he has the beginning stages of dental disease. He wont eat the dry food and he wont eat the dental chews we buy him (of course he loves to eat the cats dry food). So basically my question is what have any of you done in the past to deal with pickiness and being underweight.
