This is definitely not Max and Teddy. They are equally bonded with me and my father. Max would happily go home with my brother too, lol, although he might miss me.
Max doesn't mind kids, but we had a couple of bad experiences with them. Kids threw things at my dogs, including water.

It was heartbreaking seeing the confused looks on Max and Teddy's faces.
I do agree that it has a lot to do with socialization.
