I'm not sure if they're considered a grass or not, but I have some growing in the cracks in my driveway. It's been nearly impossible to keep my dogs away from them all the time, but I do the best I can.
Here's a video I made at the time of Eddie's incident. At the end, it shows the type of foxtail I'm talking about. These are green; the ones Eddie got into were drier and more brittle.
