Well my Athena just turned 5 months old this past weekend.
I always knew she was big for her age from the start. When she was just 6 weeks old she weighed as much as a puppy quite a bit older then she should on the charts. Back when she was 12 weeks old I did the calculations on how much she would likely weigh as an adult by doubling what she weighed then. she weighed 5 pounds so I came up with 10 pounds. So I always knew she would be a bigger yorkie. no biggy, I dont care.
Now at just turned 5 months old she is now 9 pounds. Im thinking at 5 months old she still has quite a bit of growing to do, so likely is going to by pass that 10 pounds......lol. I wonder how big shes going to get. Goes to show you cant depend on those calculation charts. They are not always right.
