Maybe chicken wire could help? We used to live on a large property with an old 4 foot chain link fence. I was worried that there might be spaces in the fence that my pups could escape through, and the property was too large to see the pups every second. I ended up enclosing a much smaller area with chicken wire. That way the pups couldn't get out of my sight OR my yard, but could still run & play!
