Lost our beloved male yorkie "Mogee" couple years ago due to a rattlesnake on our back porch. Mogee had had the rattlesnake vaccine but that is no guarantee to save them. The snake struck a major vein and he did not stand a chance. The snake had just got out of hibernation and had full venom. My two yorkie have constant supervision now and I OVERSEE the area before they potty. I hate snakes.
