When we lived in the country, when my children were young, we killed a few copper heads every week or so. We had German Shepards then and those dogs would try to kill them too. Very scarey!! Now we live in a very small community and still have snakes, but thankfully mostly grass snakes and those ugly big long black snakes (yuck). I have to really watch my little girl, Jasmine. My husband calls her, Ninja, because she attacks everything in the yard that doesn't belong. Love the summer, but dread the snakes.
