How difficult is it to train an adult yorkie to use potty pads? Does having another yorkie in the house that is already pad trained help?
There's a yorkie in my local animal shelter that they say is 2-3 years old. She appears to look a lot like my ZoE although it seems that her ears, while up are more bat-like. Unfortunately I have to work tomorrow, so my Mum offered to go look at her for me. My biggest concern, other than how she'd get along with ZoE, is the potty pad issue. With my erratic schedule I need my pup to be potty trained, so I don't HAVE to be home at a specific time.
I figured with all the rescue people on here someone has to have experience taking in an adult and pad training him/her. Any advice is appreciated
