My house seems to stay fairly cool compared to my last house. I have a gel cooling mat that ZoE will sometimes lay on, but she prefers for me to leave the bathroom door open so she can lay on the marble tiled floor.
I buy some marble tiles for him to lay on. Or you could prolly get a solid piece of marble pretty cheap from a kitchen countertop fabricator near you..you know the pieces from cut outs like sinks an cooktops.
