I would first like to welcome you to YT, sorry it is under these circumstances. My vet is a 24/7, 365 day vet / clinic, yes, good for me. I am over protective with my pups. I myself would not wait days or even 24 hours. If this happened early morning say 7AM and by early evening, say 5PM and pup is still limping, I would bring my pup to my vet at 5PM, realizing today is a holiday and vets are closed can present a problem to most ppl. I on the other hand will never be faced with not being able to get to my vet. My vet / clinic also accepts any animal regardless if the pet is not one of their clients. All vets in my area for their after hours have a recording referring my vet / clinic in emergency cases. There will be other members offering their advise and suggestions. I hope your pup just has a slight sprain and will clear up in a few hours. Age, weight of the pup will also be a factor as to how soon to see a vet. Good luck, also for emergencies you should always have the number for a 24/7 vet, clinic or ER, with these little rascals, ya just never know when you may need medical help. Having this information before a mishap is always valuable, saves time when you are frantically trying to find someone open on holidays or late at night. Again, good luck, I hope it is not serious.
