I have had 4 females all now past, they were sweet, loving and not territorial. I recently adopted a 3 y/o neutered male, he has the same personality my females had, sweet, loving. My females were 100% potty paper trained (no wee-wee pads back then) at 5 months old. 100% house broken at 7 months old, and NO accidents in the house. I would agree it depends on the dog it's self.
