Problem is that if you do find a puppy for the price you are looking for you run the risks of high and unexpected vet expenses. Puppy mills and BYB do not give good health guarantees so you get stuck and in the end you could have put your money into a healthier, better bred pup.

I know it sounds like a sad situation - but the situation can get sadder.

Go to the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America web site and read - they also list breeders. Here's the deal: they buy the breeder first, then the pup!
